Twinning School

Since September 2018, we have been linked, through the GAFI Project, with Rukongi Primary School, Kisoro, Uganda. Their school is located at the foot of Mt. Muhabura which is the base for the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The school has 746 pupils and a staff of 13 teachers. During the academic year 2018 to 2019, we raised funds for families in the school and through the Drip Charity each class were able to provide a family with a water butt enabling them to become self sufficient. We have also exchanged pen pal letters, found out more about Uganda through assemblies and other curriculum areas.
