Irby Primary Draft Admissions Policy Consultation (2026/27)
Please find attached below the draft Admissions Policy for the admissions in Sept 2026 (academic year 2026/2027).
This policy is in draft form and there will be a process of consultation for all stakeholders from Monday 21st October 2024 (for a period of six weeks) to Friday 29th November 2024.
The reason for the consultation is a change to the Admissions criteria to Reception (‘Red Class’). From September 2026 it is proposed that school staff (teaching, administration and support) would be allocated a place for their child and this would form Category 3 for admissions. Further details of this proposed change can be found in Section 3, page three of the draft policy.
